Privacy Policy

S.C.O.U.T. is a community-run Helldivers 2 statistics tool delivered as a Discord bot and this website. It is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Arrowhead Game Studios or Sony. “Helldivers” and related marks belong to their respective owners.

• Discord account data: your Discord user ID, username, and avatar, obtained when you log in with Discord or interact with the bot.
• Server data: the Discord server (guild) ID, name, icon, owner, and the channel/role configuration an admin sets up for S.C.O.U.T.
• Gameplay data you submit: the in-game statistics read from screenshots you upload (e.g. kills, samples, missions, service records) and the in-game name shown on them.
• Sponsorship data: when you support the project through Ko-fi, we record the transaction reference, amount, supporter name, and any message you leave, so we can apply sponsorship benefits.

Screenshots you submit are processed using optical character recognition (OCR) to extract the in-game numbers. To do this, images may be sent to third-party optical-recognition services (such as Google and Roboflow) solely to read the text on the image. We do not use your screenshots for advertising or sell them.

• Display your service record, profile, leaderboards, and squad analytics.
• Run server campaigns, progression tracking, and the awards engine.
• Operate the public read-only data API (see below).
• Apply donor community benefits to supporters and their servers.

S.C.O.U.T. is a community leaderboard, so per-person statistics are public by default — visible on the website and through our public API at /api/v1.

You control this. If you set your profile to private, your individual statistics are withheld from the public API and anonymized on public leaderboards. Aggregated and server-wide totals (which do not single you out) may still be shown.

We do not sell your personal data. Public statistics are, by their nature, accessible to anyone via the website and public API. Payments are processed by Ko-fi, whose own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information — S.C.O.U.T. never receives your card or banking details.

We keep your data for as long as the bot is in your server or your account remains active. You may request deletion of your personal data, and server admins may request removal of their server’s data, at any time through our Discord HQ. Setting your profile to private immediately hides your individual data from the public API and leaderboards.

S.C.O.U.T. is not directed to children under 13, and you must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement to use it.

We may update this policy as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
