Terms of Service

By adding the S.C.O.U.T. bot to a Discord server, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use S.C.O.U.T.

S.C.O.U.T. is a free, community-run Helldivers 2 statistics and campaign tool. It is provided as-is as a fan project and is not affiliated with Arrowhead Game Studios or Sony. Optional donor community benefits are available to supporters.

You agree not to:

• Submit knowingly falsified, manipulated, or fraudulent screenshots or statistics.
• Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the bot, website, or public API.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, or another server’s private data.
• Use S.C.O.U.T. to harass others or violate Discord’s Terms of Service.

We may remove the bot from, or restrict access for, servers and users that violate these terms or are blacklisted for abuse.

You are responsible for the screenshots and content you submit and confirm you have the right to share them. Server staff may review, approve, or deny submissions. Statistics you submit may be displayed publicly as described in our Privacy Policy.

Sponsorship payments are processed through Ko-fi. One-time payments unlock permanent Armor Customization on your profile; monthly server sponsorships keep premium features (such as unlimited award submissions and member-wide Armor Customization) active for the sponsored server while the subscription is active. Benefits stop when a subscription lapses. For billing issues or refund requests, contact us through the Support Hub and we will review them case by case. We may adjust the benefits offered over time.

The public read-only API at /api/v1 is provided as-is for community use. It may be cached, rate-limited, changed, or withdrawn at any time. Per-person data is public by default and subject to the opt-out described in the Privacy Policy. Do not use it to harass individuals or to build abusive automated workloads.

S.C.O.U.T. is offered without any uptime or availability guarantee. Features may change or be discontinued, and the service may be unavailable from time to time.

S.C.O.U.T. is provided “as-is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the bot, website, or API.

We may update these Terms as the project evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
